Zoe's logic on beauty

On a typical day, we are bound to play at least part of one musical soundtrack while we go about our indoor activities. One day last week it was Beauty and the Beast... and people had just been singing about how good looking Gaston was. Often when they sing those words, Zoe makes a funny face and gives it a 'two thumbs down' and then tells me how mean and rude he is. This time, she was quiet... and then said...

Zoe: Belle is the only one who doesn't think Gaston is great.

Me: Yeah, she's the smart one. What is more important? Being kind, or being beautiful?

Zoe: Well, being kind and beautiful. Because you can always be kind and just wear a beautiful dress!
