Despite some gloomy weather forcasts, the block party went on as planned, and was tons of fun!! We did have some downpours in the middle of the day and had to shut down the outdoor activities, but were able to set up again for another 2 hours after the rain passed.
Zoe's favorite aspect of the day- enjoying the inflatables with her friends. That's her and her friend Elisabeth on their way down the slide!
After patientely waiting for me to feed the baby, we headed out to try the bouncy house, the one inflatable she hadn't had a chance to try. We were next in line and they announced they were packing up for the day. I had a disappointed little girl, but we started to put shoes back on to see what else we could find in the last moments of the day.
But, once it was halfway deflated, the guy waved us back over and said that they have 10 more minutes and were going to reinflate it- so Zoe was thrilled to get to hop in there and give it a try. She even had it all to herself for a minute or so! (although I think she'd say that a bouncy house filled with kids is more fun than doing it alone)
